Over the past eight years Aggregate Harbour Holdings Inc. has acquired and conducted Seismic, test pits, surface mapping, sieve analysis and physical property determinations on three aggregate pits in close proximity to the Stewart deepwater port in northwest British Columbia.
Results have identified 102.4 million metric tonnes of high-quality sand and gravel within glacial outwash deposits. They cover land adjacent to highway 37A which provides all year round site access. .
The American Creek North & South & Dunwell Mine properties can support up to 4.2 million tonnes per year of gravel and sand for shipment to Pacific coastal markets and other destinations utilizing ocean going freighters/barges and trucking to local markets. The expected mine life of the 3 pits is approximately 25 years, including approximately 2 years of initial production at a reduced mining rate.
